Send My Wish is a place to make a wish online and give it a small ritual: write it, watch a rocket take off, and see your hope become a satellite in a shared virtual universe.
How do I send a wish?
Visit the launchpad, write up to 280 characters, and confirm your launch. Your satellite arrives at a random, fixed coordinate. Save its public link to return to the same wish, or download a keepsake.
Is it free? Do I need an account?
Text wishes are free and no account is needed. Photo wishes are planned at $5 per image as a one-time payment. Photo uploads and payments are not available yet.
Who can see my wish?
Wishes are public. Other visitors can find them in the wish universe, anyone with a wish link can read it, and search engines may show it. Do not include phone numbers, addresses, passwords or other private information.
Can I edit or remove a wish?
A launched wish is sealed: its text and coordinate cannot be edited. Your browser keeps a private removal key, and you can save a separate private removal link. That key lets you take your wish out of orbit. Without it, we cannot verify that an anonymous wish belongs to you.
Does it really go into space?
This is a virtual experience. The rockets, satellites and coordinates belong to this website. Sample wishes are clearly marked for inspiration.
What if I find an inappropriate wish?
Open the satellite and choose “Report wish.” Reports are saved for review. You can report personal information, harmful content, spam, or another concern.
