Some wishes come to us when the house finally gets quiet. The dishes are done. Someone we love is asleep down the hall. For a minute, there’s nothing left to do, and we find ourselves thinking about what we hope tomorrow will bring.

Other wishes stay with us for years. We carry them to work, through ordinary Tuesdays, into new homes and unfamiliar chapters. Sometimes we tell someone. Sometimes we keep them to ourselves because we haven’t found the words yet.

Send My Wish begins with a small invitation: give one of those wishes a place outside your own head. A few words are enough.

The things we’d carry with us

Imagine what someone might send. A parent could wish for their child to grow up feeling safe enough to be themselves. Someone starting over could wish for a job that lets them breathe a little easier. A person far from home might simply wish for another dinner around the same kitchen table, with everyone talking at once.

A wish could hold a memory, too: a grandfather’s laugh, a summer at the lake, the sound of someone calling your name from the next room. Or it might look forward to something you can almost picture—the first page of a book you’ll write, a front door of your own, the day you finally feel ready to try again.

Your wish might be entirely different. It doesn’t have to sound beautiful or mean anything to anyone else. It just has to matter to you.

A little less alone under the sky

Here, your wish joins a shared online universe. A virtual rocket carries it to its own satellite, and a link gives you a way back. You can revisit it or share it with someone who understands why you wrote it.

Nearby are wishes from people you may never meet. Their lives may look nothing like yours, but you might recognize something in what they hope for. There’s comfort in that: finding a familiar feeling in a stranger’s words, somewhere in this wide universe.

The dream ahead

Our ambition is to carry this community’s wishes into real space someday, including free text wishes. We like to imagine all those small pieces of life making that journey together: the love, the memories, the hopes people took a moment to put into words. As the project grows, we intend to build up funding toward making that physical mission possible.

There is no confirmed flight or launch date. A mission would depend on funding, a feasible plan, and a launch partner. Every launch here is virtual today. A photo purchase buys only the online photo experience; it does not guarantee a physical flight. Text wishes are free and are part of our ambition, too.
